Staffline is recruiting HGV Class 2 drivers with immediate starts for our client based out of Coventry.

PAYE rates for the role of LGV2 driver are as follows:

First 12 weeks -
  • Monday to Friday Days - £11.59 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £12.23 per hour
  • Saturday Days - £12.50 per hour
  • Sunday Days - £13.09 per hour
After 12 weeks -
  • Monday to Friday Days - £12.05 per hour
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £12.69 per hour
  • Saturday - £15.57 per hour
  • Sunday - £15.57 per hour
Full time regular ongoing work and shifts available on all start times across 7 days a week.

Please contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued, which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.

If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV 2 driver, the work will involve trunking parcels between depot’s and making deliveries in bulk to distribution locations - all palletised items. In return for your commitment we can offer regular shifts and start times that suit you. We are delighted to offer a great rate of pay and an excellent working environment. Most assignments are long term for those that desire an ongoing opportunity.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV Class 2 driver, you will ideally have -
  • UK driving licence cat C
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DCPC
