LGV1, HGV1, C+E, LGV 1, HGV 1, CLASS 1 TRUCK DRIVERS WELCOME

LONG TERM REGULAR ONGOING WORK ALL YEAR ROUND

FULL TIME – PART TIME, IMMEDIATE STARTS

Staffline are recruiting 20 x HGV Class 1 Drivers to work for our client who is the leading international baked snack manufacturer based in Ashby-de-la-Zouch.

Start times available on days, afternoons and nights, weekdays and weekends. Food Distribution client based in Ashby. Clean Trunking Work. Guaranteed Shifts, with ongoing work.

This customer is now busier and as a result we need approximately 20 x new drivers across days, afternoons and nights, 7 days a week.

Reward Package For The Role Of HGV1 Driver

PAYE rates including your holiday pay in lieu of accrual for the role are as follows:
  • Daily paid Bonus of £56.03 on top of rates below:
  • 9.5 hours a day guaranteed (Inc 1.5 hours of Overtime rate)
  • Monday to Friday Days - £12.02 per hour + Overtime Rates - £16.70
  • Monday to Friday Nights - £14.03 per hour + Overtime Rates - £18.72
  • Saturdays - Day £18.04 / Night £20.05 per hour
  • Sundays - Day £20.05 / Night £21.38 per hour
Please contact us to discuss our new, entirely optional, alternative arrangement, where a driver would receive a payment in lieu of holiday accrued (Rates shown above), which is paid weekly as you work, rather than holiday pay being accrued to be taken at a later date.

If you chose this option, you must still follow the standard holiday processes in respect of booking periods of time off from work and will be actively encouraged to take appropriate time off each year.

Your Time at Work

As an HGV Class 1 driver, the work will involve Class 1 Depot Trunking work delivering food around the UK. Our client is offering amazing rates/terms with the daily bonus and conditions, long shifts with average 10+ hours and guaranteed shifts. In return for your commitment we can offer start times that suit you. Part time HGV drivers are also welcome to apply. Regular work every weekend.

We have other sites locally that work will be available at if for any reasons shifts are not available.

Our Perfect Worker

As an HGV LGV Class 1 driver, you will ideally have:
  • 6 months HGV driving experience
  • No more than 6 points
  • Digi card and DQC
