About the Role

We are seeking a Connected Car Delivery Manager to join the business on a Permanent basis, at our Crewe Campus (With Hybrid Working). Reporting to the Functional Manager for Connected Car Programme Management & Connectivity, the Connected Car Delivery manager will be responsible for governance and technical delivery of Connected Car programmes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Programme & Project Management of cross-functional projects from requirements to project closure
  • End-to-End Delivery of complex projects that deliver functionality across multiple product lines (within time and budget)
  • Budget responsibilities for assigned projects
  • Programme level; planning (including resource), risk management and problem resolution
  • Ensuring Connected Car programmes and projects are governed in line with the Bentley Digital project methodology

About the Person

The successful applicant will be an IT Project Manager/Senior Engineer with proven programme and project management experience from an automotive/IT background. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

  • Experience of vehicle and software development lifecycles
  • Evidence of end-to-end programme delivery and complex problem resolution
  • Experience of driving adherence to (and adoption of) project governance routines
  • Matrix management of project teams, stakeholders and suppliers
  • Track record of delivering technical projects and functionality
  • Experience of interpreting automotive requirement documents
  • Connected Car Experience (ideally)
  • German knowledge is advantageous
