The Opportunity:

We are looking for a highly qualified individual to join the School of Engineering, the University of Edinburgh, with experience in development and delivery of teaching materials in Electronics and Electrical Engineering. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and support for undergraduate BEng/MEng and postgraduate MSc taught programmes. The specific teaching duties will be allocated to match the skills, expertise, and capabilities of the post holder, with those duties being within the broad remit of the EEE subject area. Therefore, while this job does not have a prescribed area within EEE, we are interested in applicants who have outstanding experience of teaching within an EEE degree programme.

Your skills and attributes for success:

  • A PhD and first degree in Electronics and Electrical Engineering or a closely related subject.
  • Experience demonstrating in teaching laboratories related to electronics and electrical engineering.
  • Experience of University-level course organisation, teaching and assessment.
  • Excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills.

This position is full-time and fixed-term for 12 months.
