CAHSS / Edinburgh College of Art

Open Ended Contract - Permanent: Full Time Hours - 35 Hours Per Week.

The Opportunity

The post-holder of this role will provide administrative support to our Subject Area History of Art to assist in the effective management and smooth-running of the Subject Areas.

The successful candidate will provide HR and finance administrative support, as well as support for academic Heads, research seminars/events, and a range of staff committees.

Subject Area Administrators normally liaise with a wide range of colleagues. Although this is not a student facing role, the post holder will indirectly contribute to student experience. Any member of the team may at times deal with student enquiries and so the post holder can play a key role in creating a welcoming environment for students.
