We’re currently recruiting for a Traffic Manager to lead our shared-user-network operations through our AM shift. You’ll be responsible for leading operational performance of the Leigh depot; covering collections, deliveries, and trunking. Ensuring that we are constantly compliant and achieving customer KPIs in a timely manner.

Pay, benefits and more:

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £37,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

  • Support the Site Manager with adherence to all compliance and legal obligations during your shift with a huge emphasis on safety
  • Assist with executing the daily plan for all deliveries and collections, with a keen eye on resource available at site and throughout the network
  • Ensure all process and procedures are followed and that we operate a safe and efficient environment
  • Provide leadership and guidance for the transport team to enable them to meet objectives, encouraging open communication

What you need to succeed at XPO:

  • It’s important you have exposure of working in a fast-paced environment – no two days will be the same and we need you to think on your feet
  • Previous experience supervising and developing a team within network or cross dock environment
  • Every day you’ll need to have an eye on continuous improvement of operational efficiencies and fleet performance - do you have a track record of improving things?
