We’re currently recruiting a Warehouse Manager to lead our operations in Goldthorpe – between Rotherham, Barnsley and Doncaster - for our customer; JLA. You’ll be responsible for managing all aspects of warehouse and overseeing the servicing workshop on site. With a team of 15 staff, you’ll be working closely with the customer and transport teams on site to make sure that customer SLA’s and KPIs are achieved.

We’re looking to offer a salary of up to £42,000 per annum. In addition, we offer 25 days holiday (plus bank holidays), as well as the option to buy additional days. What you’ll do on a typical day:

• Drive the safety culture and operational quality for the site
• Effectively lead the site’s inventory, workshop and pick operations as well as the associated workforce on site
• Ensure all KPIs, targets and safety objectives are being met or exceeded across the operation
• Ensure a smooth flow of goods through the warehouse and workshop whilst maintaining accurate inventory
• Continuously monitor process, proactively acting to maintain and improve standards to a recognised industry standard

What you need to succeed at XPO:

• Previous experience within stock control/ inventory management an advantage
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build a strong team and productive customer relationships
• A background in transport or operational experience would be highly advantageous
• Strong administration, organisation and IT skills
