Our highly regarded Court of Protection Department is looking for a Lawyer to join their busy team in our Oxford office.

The caseload includes; assisting injured parties and elderly clients to manage their property & affairs where a deputy order is in place. The team also deals with complex and contentious court panel referrals, professional attorneyships and trusteeships for personal injury awards.

The work will include managing a varied caseload for clients who often have substantial awards of compensation, dealing with complex matters in the Court of Protection, assisting with catastrophic injury cases pre and post settlement, assisting with the purchase and adaption of properties, meeting with clients their families and multi-disciplinary teams, liaising with the Court and the Office of the Public Guardian, supervision of junior lawyers and support staff, billing and file management. Some of our cases can be very time consuming and sensitive.
