Hamptons are currently working with a well-known not for profit care provider for people with Learning Disabilities.As a result of their continued passion to provide the highest standard of care, we are supporting them to recruit a Registered Service Manager for a supported living service.We are on the search for a warm, person centred candidate with a respectful approach to working with people.

You are expected to collaborate with the Housing Provider, local authority, and other stakeholders. You will ensure that CQC care standards are met, and the highest level of customer service is provided.

You will be joining a progressive charitable organisation, strongly committed to investing in your professional development through both practice-based training and academic study. You will also be part of our highly committed and mutually supportive team of operational managers in the South East region and a network of Registered Managers across the country who strive to meet and exceed CQC standards. By joining this team you will be able to access peer support and expertise. The client is described as an Investor in People accredited employer of a diverse team of over 5,000 well supported staff across England. Our services in London and the South East employ over 600 staff supporting around 1,000 people with care and support needs.

Salary; £28,000- £31,000 (37.5 hours)

Requirements;
  • Significant practitioner and/or management experience, skills and knowledge in learning and/or physical disabilities
  • Experience of supervising and being a role model to staff and plan rotas to meet the needs and preferences of service users
  • A relevant professional qualification (e.g. Diploma in Social Work, RMN/RGN, NVQ 4/5).
  • A degree level or post- graduate qualification
  • Ability to work positively and collaboratively with colleagues, service users and their families, professionals and stakeholders
  • Skills and confidence in networking and developing partnerships with external colleagues and agencies
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to listen sensitively to others
  • Ability to produce high quality written reports within deadlines
  • Excellent IT skills with the ability to contribute to a computerised record keeping system
  • Working knowledge of computer applications and ability to use computerised record keeping system
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the service
