The Business Management and Commissioning Service is based at County Hall and is responsible for the delivery of multi-functional, multi-level projects, involving the development and implementation of proposals for operational change.
The team is responsible for managing and delivering a range of projects relating to ICT and information management within Adult Social Care and the Business Management and Commissioning Service. The post will focus on supporting the delivery of these projects, as well as overseeing the provision of IT equipment across the services. The post will also support the implementation of good practice around data protection and records management in both services.
The successful applicant will require a good understanding of the principles behind records management and data protection, experience of undertaking project work, strong IT skills and good interpersonal skills. They will ideally have an understanding of services provided by the council, particularly Adult Services and the Business Management and Commissioning Service, an awareness of recent and impending changes including legislative in these Service areas and how these will impact on services. They will be innovative, have vision and insight, will be able to work to deadlines and use initiative. There will also be a requirement for extensive cross-directorate working and engagement with partner organisations.
The post is based at County Hall, Beverley, however due to the Coronavirus pandemic, staff in the team are currently working from home.
