Are you committed to (and do not already have) working towards a Level 2 Highways maintenance skilled operative apprenticeship standard.
The Highways maintenance teams at Beverley or Hedon and Market Weighton are seeking an apprentice at each depot to work within the Highways Team for 37 hours + 2 hours contractual overtime per week.
The qualification offered as part of the Apprenticeship is aimed at those who do not have a full working knowledge of the role and who will under supervision work generally as part of a gang or individually, you will undertake operations associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, bridges, street lighting, road signs, winter maintenance, surface dressing, paving and fully cleansing.
