Regular duties include:
Leading and actively taking part in events, eg story times, author talks
Supporting health and wellbeing initiatives
Assisting the public to use IT resources
Shelving and maintaining stock
Promoting the library service to the community
The work is often physically demanding, involving lifting and moving around the workplace.
The days of work are alternative Thursdays, equalling to 3 hours per fortnight.
