Our client is a multidisciplinary Surveying, Design and Build organisation and we are seeking to appoint a Project Coordinator or Administrator to join the team at their office in the Ely area on a permanent basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Project Coordinator or Administrator ideally from a Construction, Engineering, or Technical background to play a pivotal role in assisting with Bids and Tenders, streamlining processes, managing crucial documents, and assisting in the overall execution of projects. Career development and progression are built into this new role for the company.

Key Responsibilities:

Support

Provide daily administrative support to the Sales Director and other staff, including assisting with Bid Writing, Tenders, arranging meetings, and coordinating travel.

Assist in preparing presentations, reports, and strategic plans.

Facilitate communication between Directors, the Practice Manager, and other departments.Document Control

Manage and organise essential documents, including Bids, Tenders, contracts, designs, and technical specifications.

Ensure that all documents comply with industry standards and company policies and procedures.

Maintain an efficient filling system, ensuring easy accessibility and confidentiality.

Training will be given on company policies and procedures regarding Document Control.Project Control

Assist in the Bid/tender, planning and execution of design and build projects.

Collaborate with Sales Director, Project Managers, Engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely Bid and Project delivery.

Assist other staff members with documentation, i.e., scanning, posting documents, and ensuring documents are saved in correct locations.

Monitor project timelines, budgets, and deliverables, providing regular updates to the Directors and Practice Manager.Skills & Experience Required:

Previous Administration experience with a company dealing with products or services of a technical nature.

Outstanding communication skills over the phone, email and face to face.

Strong IT skills with knowledge of MS Office and able to pick up new systems.

Able to prioritise, excellent organisational and leadership skills.

Thorough and very good attention to detail.

Flexible, adaptable, personable, and open to change.

Ability to pass basic security clearance.
