Job Description

The key responsibilities will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Scan, process and match all invoices;
  • Liaise with suppliers on all invoice queries;
  • Take payments where appropriate;
  • Manage information provision from start to finish;
  • Assist in month end and year end reporting;
  • Reconcile supplier statements;
  • Process expenses, credit card statements and other direct debit.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate must possess;

  • Experience of undertaking Purchase ledger work within a finance function;
  • Experience of and familiarity with general principles of budgets and budgetary control;
  • Experience of working successfully as part of a team by building effective relationships with the ability to anticipate problems and find appropriate solutions to these, without requiring constant supervision;
  • Effective oral and written communication skills;
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
