What is great about the role?

This is your opportunity to help people in your local area deal with their housing issues. You have the chance to not only meet but exceed expectation. In this role you will unpick and identify problems, provide help, advice and assistance based on each individuals’ set of circumstances.

You will guide people through their homelessness issues into settled accommodation and ensure their tenancy obligations are understood to maintain their privately rented accommodation.

You will hold homeless advice surgeries, refer to other agencies and help people with their homelessness issues.

What skills and experience do you need?

With experience of managing properties in the private rented sector, you’ll understand the issues that can sometimes mean that an applicant struggles to find suitable accommodation.

You’ll be able to work as part of a team, together with the ability to work alone and to take the initiative in decision making.

You’ll have good communication and listening skills. Working with landlords and Local Authority partners will be key to the success of this role, with a strong focus on interpersonal skills and the ability to network.

Our values are positive, connected and considerate. At Pobl, you will share these values and be motivated to work in an environment that is driven by them.
