What’s great about this role?

You will have the opportunity to bring your technical expertise as a learning and development professional, together with your people leadership skills, to a values led organisation with commitment and ambition to maximise the impact of talent development for our colleagues.

There’s huge scope to put your expertise into practice. You will lead on the work to design and develop the first all Pobl Talent Development Model which will support the career journeys of colleagues across Pobl. You’ll also work on programmes of “real time” learning, fresh approaches to Leadership Development, development of our in-house resources and innovations in the area of digital learning.

To give some examples of where you will have an impact, you’ll be working directly with the senior teams in our Customer division to understand how our colleagues can be developed and supported in a way that puts the customer at the heart of all decision making. You’ll also be involved in upskilling the organisation around the decarbonisation agenda.

What do I need to be successful?

You’ll have a proven career in learning and development in complex organisations with clear professional development as a learning and development professional. You’ll have strong experience in design, delivery and evaluation of learning interventions and best practice in blended learning. You’ll also have experience of innovating in the learning space and always up to date on new technologies. We are also looking for you to specifically have experience and qualifications in psychometrics, specifically BPS Level A and B accreditation or equivalent.

With regards to the softer skills that you’ll need, you’ll be a confident communicator, a starter finisher, resilient and share our values of being positive connected and considerate.

Where will I work?

Your contractual base would be your nearest Pobl office (Newport or Swansea) but it is entirely flexible with how often you are in the office versus working from home. You would simply be expected to visit your team and colleagues throughout South Wales as necessary. We have a very flexible work from home policy with full autonomy on how you manage your diary to be effective at your job.

Pay And Benefits
