Location: Ditton Park, Slough (hybrid) with UK travel required

Salary: Dep on exp + annual bonus + benefits

This is an excellent opportunity for a Marketing Executive with experience partnerships marketing and who is passionate about animals to join our Petplan business (the UK’s favorite pet insurer), which is part of the Allianz Insurance Group.

The successful candidate will help build strong connections with our Partners and will have the opportunity to make a real impact on this key part of the Petplan business with responsibility for delivering key partner marketing activity utilising both B2B and B2C tactics.

You can have an agency or in-house background but the key element we are looking for is experience in partner relationships, implementing marketing campaigns and how best to embed Petplan into partner’s customer journeys.

Deliver Commercial Objectives

  • Work with Key Partner Marketing Lead and wider Key Partner Team to deliver individual partner sales targets through targeting of partner customers using partners’ new and existing customer touchpoints.

Partnership Marketing

  • Contribute to discussions with individual partners on how best to integrate Petplan into their existing customer touchpoints
  • Support the creation of bespoke partner marketing plans that inspire partners and ensures partner buy-in and commitment to implement on their side
  • Implement agreed customer marketing activity and programmes on time and within budget to target partner audiences.
  • Engage the relevant Petplan team as necessary to create bespoke partner propositions in line with agreed parameters and/or to support partner marketing acquisition activity as necessary.
  • Prioritise activity that is most likely to contribute greatest outcomes towards partners’ and Petplan’s overall sales targets, and ensure resource is deployed appropriately.
  • Ensure communications and activity aligns with partner’s regulatory status at all times.

Partner relationships

  • Be prepared to attend and participate in discussions at partner Quarterly Business Review meetings along with the Account Manager and/or Key Partner Marketing Lead. Candidates must be flexible to travel to these offsite meetings around the UK (approx. 15-20 per year).
  • Maintain positive relationships with marketing contacts of partner businesses
  • Support the creation of partner and new business pitch materials, to ensure the successful acquisition of new partners and retention of current partners as necessary.

Campaign reporting

  • Work closely with Data & Insight team to understand and report on partner and campaign-specific performance
  • Work closely with Account Managers to monitor key partner sales performance, ensuring analysis, monitoring and enhancement of acquisition activity
  • Report back on individual campaign and partner marketing performance and determine reasons for campaign and BAU activity performance.
  • Understand and communicate impact of campaign on partner performance
  • Be prepared to present to partners and/or internal stakeholders as necessary on own campaign / activity performances.

Skills & Experience

  • Previous marketing experience
  • Experience working with partners / clients in a marketing role.
  • Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and to interact with all organisational levels.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects, simultaneously while meeting partner and business deadlines.
  • Proven success in a client or partner facing role within a marketing context, with experience managing partner demands.
  • Creative thinker that will stretch the boundaries of traditional sales generating activity
  • Excellent relationship/stakeholder management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • You will possess excellent numerical and analytical skills with a strong ability to understand and interpret data
  • You will be an innovator and a problem-solver, who can drive performance by motivating and training your partners and accounts
  • Must be a confident, self-motivated, people person who is skilled at time management and able to work on their own as well as part of a team
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience working in a broad marketing role – with a strong understanding of all areas of the promotional mix.
  • You’ll be enthusiastic and passionate about pets and petcare, keeping up to date with what is happening in the pet welfare and veterinary industries.
