Are you an ambitious Insurance Manager, or Insurance Broker with a passion for safeguarding corporate interests and fostering a culture of comprehensive risk awareness? A global pioneer in engineering high-performance, sustainable power technology to the automation industry is seeking a meticulous and strategic individual to enhance their internal insurance framework.

Reporting directly to the General Counsel and working closely with the Chief Financial Officer, this pivotal role offers a generous remuneration package including a base salary of £60,000 to £80,000, reflecting the importance and expertise required for the position. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring robust insurance support is interwoven throughout all departments, providing expert advice and guiding the business towards optimal cover considerations and policy placements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing professional, efficient insurance advice across the organisation.
  • Managing suppliers (including insurance brokers) to develop and implement insurance policies and risk management strategies across the organisation.
  • Collaborate with various departments to embed an understanding of insurance responsibilities within contract negotiations and document preparations.
  • Liaise with external stakeholders to ensure the company’s insurance provisions are comprehensive and cost-effective.
  • Continuously evaluate and improve the organisation’s insurance programmes to align with changing business needs and industry standards.

Essential Skills And Experience

  • Proven experience in insurance management, preferably within a corporate or insurance broking setting, with exposure to complex risks.
  • Strong understanding of insurance markets, terms, and practices.
  • Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to influence and educate at all levels of the business.
  • Adept at analysing complex information and making informed recommendations.
  • ACII Qualification (or work towards) is preferred but not essential.
