Our Finance team play an essential role in maintaining financial control and ensuring all aspects of our business have the right information to support commercial, operational and financial decision making.

We have an excellent opportunity for a Group Financial Planning and Analysis Manager at our Head Office, Cowick Hall in East Yorkshire. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the timely delivery of the Group’s financial reporting and analysis (including drafting commentary) and managing the Group’s financial planning frameworks. This will involve delivery of reporting on consolidated group results, monthly financial reporting to the Board and ExCo, quarterly forecasting, liaising closely with global counterparts to complete the budgeting processes and supporting acquisition activities where appropriate. You will be responsible for driving the global consistency of financial reporting and accounting with specific responsibility for financial reporting areas with a link to forecasting process such as goodwill and other impairment reviews and going concern, as well as other financial reporting areas as required. You will also be a finance business partner for certain functions as and when required, including developing and enhancing functional reporting over the medium term.

Essentials

  • You will be a confident communicator with excellent interpersonal skills, capable of challenging and building strong working relationships throughout the business
  • You should also be able to adapt to the changing business needs and be able to prioritise key actions to positively impact on performance
  • You must be a quick thinker, with an analytical and commercial approach to problem solving
  • You will be an ACA/CIMA qualified accountant with experience working within practice and/or Plc environment

Desirables

  • Experience managing financial planning frameworks within a large multi-national business
  • Experience working within a manufacturing/industrial environment
