We currently have an opportunity at our Ditton site for a Maintenance Technician. The main purpose of this role is to provide plant and process problem solving skills to optimise manufacturing equipment availability and keep production downtime to a minimum. The role will involve communicating with internal customers to ensure that the work is completed in a safe and timely manner.

Essentials
  • You will be able to work on your own initiative or in a team and interact effectively with others.
  • Good fault finding and problem-solving skills.
  • You will be able to work to a high and consistent standard paying particular attention to detail.
  • Able to read and understand electrical diagrams, loop sheets and PID’s.
  • Computer literacy.
  • ONC or equivalent with relevant experience in electrical discipline, ideally a time served apprenticeship.

Desirables
  • IOSH managing safely
  • HNC in electrical discipline or above
  • Trained to COMPEX 1-6
  • Familiarity with electrical standards including 18th edition
  • Electrical testing and inspection certification
  • Experience in operating in a GMP environment
  • Knowledge of PLC and control system
