About the role

Are you a confident leader with strong networking and influencing skills?

As Head of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Policy you will lead the team that is working to protect the island’s economy and reputation from the proceeds of crime.

You will ensure the AML Policy Office has a clear vision and direction. Working closely with a variety of stakeholders including law enforcement and regulatory bodies you will develop appropriate actions to address identified risks. In addition to providing advice at political and senior officer level, you will actively contribute to policy and legislation changes.

The AML Policy Office leads engagement with international bodies that set and monitor AML standards. A key part of your role will be in engaging with international organisations, ensuring that the island is appropriately represented and where necessary, defended.

The Council of Ministers has recently adopted a Financial Crime Strategy for 2021-23. You will be responsible for overseeing delivery of the Strategy, working with partner agencies, monitoring performance and reporting on progress to the Financial Crime Strategic Board.
