About the role and our team

We are looking for two Financial Intelligence Analysts to join our small and dedicated team in the Financial Intelligence Unit.

The Financial Intelligence Unit’s (FIU) core purpose is to protect the integrity of the Isle of Man’s financial system by contributing to the administration of justice through its expertise in detecting financial crime, and countering money laundering and the financing of terrorism. The FIU receives, analyses and shares financial intelligence with both domestic and international partners.

Within this role, you will regularly interact with industry representatives, domestic and international regulators and law enforcement agencies as well as other FIU’s around the world. You will be encouraged to identify a specialist area of professional interest within the wider disciplines of anti-money laundering (AML) and countering the financing of terrorism (CFT)and will be supported in building your expertise in this area. Experience, training and qualifications are gained in the FIU are viewed favourably in both the public and private sector.

We are looking for individuals who are keen to build upon their experience in dealing with reports of money laundering, financing of terrorism or suspected financial sanctions breaches, gained either in the public or private sector, however, full training will be provided if you’re new to this area.
