Finance Support Officer

UOE05 - £25,742 - £29,605

Contract Type - Open - Ended

Full Time - 35 Hours Per Week

What the job involves:

  • Taking support calls on the telephone and by e-mail and recording these in the university’s call management system (UniDesk). Providing users with help and guidance and processing standard support requests.
  • Contribute to service planning to ensure the ongoing development and improvement of the helpline service
  • Produce user documentation, update the Helpline knowledgebase and provide user training where required
  • This is a Hybrid role, The in-office day would be Tuesdays in Argyle House, Central Edinburgh


A bit about you:

  • You must be Calm and methodical, capable of handling pressure and dealing with problems appropriately
  • You must be accepting and Able to adapt to change
  • We would like you to have a background in a enquiry driven environment, where customer focus is high
  • We would be looking for someone who has Experience of developing and maintaining cooperative relationships, demonstrating a team spirit in working to continually enhance services
