The Company

dnata Catering UK, the world’s largest inflight caterer has an exciting opportunity for a Financial Reporting Analyst to join their Central Finance Team.

The role is 40 hours per week, worked over 5 days and you will be based at our UK catering unit, at Manchester Airport

The Role

Your responsibility will be to assist with reporting on month end group accounts, budgets and forecasts; providing key analysis as required for both internal and shareholder requirements and developing upon existing reporting tools.

What you’ll be doing will include:

  • Assist with month end Operational Reports
  • Prepare or assist in preparation of financial information to support business unit needs and external reporting requirements
  • Assist the Reporting and Financial Analysis Accountant in the roll up of the weekly flash and management accounts, and annual Budget and Forecasts
  • Liaise with Business Partners regarding upload/classification of accounts within SAP
  • Complete adhoc financial analysis as and when required
  • Generate and process regular month end journals
  • Assist various departments within dnata Catering, completing adhoc work when required

What you’ll have will include:

  • Knowledge of SAP (preferable)
  • Undertaking or have studied AAT
  • Strong IT skills; experience of Microsoft Access, Office, Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excel skills including knowledge of pivot tables, v lookup and sum if
  • Ability to deliver to tight deadlines, and to adapt to ever-changing requirements
  • Demonstrate a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and organisation, be disciplined in your work and have a can do attitude
  • Ability to adapt, to be flexible and reliable
  • Be able to work as part of team or individually and show initiative to continually improve dnata Catering UKs reporting framework
