Audit & Accounts Senior (Finalist or Recently Qualified) - Crewe - £30,000 - £45,000 (DOE)

Due to growth, a medium-sized chartered accountancy practice, is offering a newly created role to an experienced Audit & Accounts Senior. Based in modern offices with free parking and easy access from Crewe railway station, this forward-thinking firm prides itself on its innovative approach to accountancy, yet maintains a warm, family atmosphere that values each member of its team.

As a dedicated Audit & Accounts Senior, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the financial success of a diverse portfolio of clients. Your responsibilities will be varied and engaging, ensuring no two days are the same. The role is thoughtfully divided, with a focus of 40% on audit activities and 60% on accounts, allowing for a well-rounded experience.

Audit & Accounts Senior Key Responsibilities

  • Lead audit planning and execute fieldwork, providing guidance to junior staff on-site
  • Prepare comprehensive accounts with precision
  • Navigate the intricacies of VAT, bookkeeping, corporate tax, and personal tax (with the understanding that prior personal tax experience is not a prerequisite)
  • Contribute to the firm’s commitment to delivering top-tier client service

Accounts And Tax Semi-Senior Ideal Candidate Profile

Ideal candidates will be ACA/ACCA finalists or those who have recently achieved qualification. The firm recognises the importance of continued professional development and offers full block release study support to complete ACA/ACCA qualifications if needed. Experience in planning and leading audits is essential.
