Job Description

The key responsibilities of a Finance Officer will include, but may not be limited to;

  • Processing of orders and invoices.
  • Setting up of new suppliers.
  • Financial reconciliations.
  • General financial accounts.
  • Monitor service charge income and costs.
  • Provide support with budget setting and forecasting.
  • Preparation of financial and management reports.

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate as aFinance Officermust possess the following skill set and experience;

  • Background working in Not for Profit and Charities - Education setting desirable.
  • Proven Finance related background.
  • Ability to adapt to new systems and software.
  • Good oral and written communications.
  • Ability to prioritise and management workload.
  • Understanding of income and expenditure accounts.
  • Ability to commute to Oldham.

  • Full time role - 35 hours per week.
  • Monday - Friday.
  • Hourly pay rate between £13.50 - £14.50.
