We’re looking for an Employee Services Onboarding Manager to join us in Bradford.

Reporting to the Director of Employee Services, you will lead a team to provide an accurate and efficient offer and on-boarding service to new starters; focusing on delivering both a high quality new starter experience and proactive support to the Virgin Media hiring managers.

Within this role, you will work closely with the automation team and automation platforms to transact core processes, and will review processes and procedures with a view to further automation opportunities where possible to drive greater efficiencies and candidate experience.

What will you be doing?

  • You will be an integral part of the ES leadership team and VMS management team that supports a people and talent management culture that is commercially focused and reflects the Virgin Media brand, values and behaviours.
  • As part of the ES management team, you will establish the service’s strategic direction, formulate the services/business plan, set standards and monitor the service’s overall performance
  • Ensure ES Customer Service Delivery meets on-going strategic goals in cost, integration, management support, employee effectiveness and business measurement
  • Ensure the advice given to managers, employees and external parties is of a high quality, consistent and delivered in a customer focused way.
  • Continually monitor and improve the Customer Service Delivery operation in line with benchmarked best practice, customer needs, and ES/Shared Services strategy.
  • Continuous review of Offers & Onboarding working processes and SLA’s to scope improvements
  • Liaise with the wider Resourcing team to review accuracy and delivery of the on-boarding team in line with the pre-agreed SLA.
We Tend To Look For People With

  • Management experience; preferably in an HR shared service centre environment and ideally with a fast paced Resourcing/Recruitment team/function.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills; able to develop and maintain collaborative and effective working relationships at all levels.
  • Excellent organisation skills; able to quickly and effectively handle multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, analytical and agile in leveraging data to drive processes.
  • Willing to get involved in a variety of tasks from high level strategic to detailed and routine tasks.
  • An understanding of HR systems would be an advantage
