The Role
TopCashback is looking for an Email Marketing Executive placement to join our Head Office in Stafford.
Working within our Partnerships Team, you’ll become an all-star email marketer with an enthusiasm for optimising and building top-notch marketing communication programmes.
With real responsibility from the start, the Email Marketing Executive role will include producing email campaigns and working on the overall strategy of an extensive email marketing plan. Covering all categories, including fashion, travel, insurance and many more you will write copy on behalf of merchants that engages relevant members whilst ensuring that our cashback is the prominent deal being advertised so as to adhere to GDPR.
The overall marketing team is responsible for attracting and nurturing members to shop with our network of over 4,800 retail clients. This role specifically plays a pivotal role in supporting and optimising campaigns delivered to our members on behalf of our retail clients.
The position offers an excellent opportunity to learn quickly and be given responsibility for key tasks and functions as well as gaining valuable hands-on marketing experience.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the client Account Managers and Insights team to develop appropriate marketing strategies and plans
  • Deliver member communication campaigns in support of client marketing plans
  • Using Adobe Dreamweaver to construct email campaigns independently
  • Ensure that all written content adheres to GDPR (General Data Protection Regulations)
  • Prioritise and devote appropriate time to various campaign-related tasks in order to meet deadlines
  • Segment lists based on behaviours like past email engagement and website interactions (site page visits, etc.)
  • Proof-read campaigns for clarity, grammar and spelling; and offer suggestions for improvement
  • Identify potential improvements to the website and systems, as well as ensuring all email campaigns follow industry trends and bringing forward new and creative ideas
  • Analyse campaign results and track email metrics (delivery, open, click-through rates), report on and make recommendations for improvements
