A fantastic opportunity has arisen within Campus Services for a Building Services Manager Manager to join the Estates team. Based in Paisley, the post has a multi-campus remit and will support the Head of Estates Environment in the planning, development and implementation of an infrastructure management strategy in support of the University’s strategic objectives and goals, including net-zero 2040, mandatory compliance, best practice and resource efficiency.


The postholder will provide professional advice to the Head of Estates & Environment and other senior colleagues as appropriate, on matters relating to infrastructure associated with energy, heating, ventilation, cooling, water and drainage systems technical and facilities management to ensure the work of the University can be carried out in accordance with its stated objectives.


The successful candidate will have a degree and professional qualification relevant to the area of work, gained through either a postgraduate qualification and through professional membership of a related body. They will also possess professional experience in strategic Building services management, with in depth knowledge of buildings-related regulations and legislation, along with experience of development, delivery and implementation of a wide and diverse range of infrastructure management and operational functions.
