Are you from a Facilities/Building Maintenance background with Plumbing, Electrical and commercial property maintenance experience.

The Role:

  • Managing and undertaking proactive and reactive maintenance for the commercial premise.
  • Carrying out repairs and upkeep to plumbing and electrical systems, undertaking carpentry, tiling, painting, and decorating works.
  • Assist with all site compliance fire alarms, fire extinguisher, emergency light and PAT testing across the site.
  • Upkeep and maintenance of all fire doors, pedestrian and doors around the site.
  • Manage and maintain the AC system throughout the building.
  • Manage the water systems onsite to include monitor and maintenance of filtration system, cold-water storage tank maintenance, legionella testing of hot water heaters and cold-water storage tank.
  • Manage and maintain roller shutter doors and dock levellers around the warehouses.
  • Assisting the IT department with CCTV maintenance, access control systems, running new cabling for ongoing IT infrastructure projects.
  • Overseeing of sub-contractors onsite.
  • Management of large warehouse flat roof system, cleaning of valleys, gutters, running outlets and bird control.
  • Recording of all site electrical and water meters.
  • Implementation of all H&S.
  • To assist in the ongoing development and renovations of the site moving forward.
  • Waste management and recycling

30,000 - £38,000 salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set, further training will also be provided.

Regular reporting of all facilities related items directly to the Estates Manager.

To oversee and lead all site maintenance requirements with a hands-on approach, oversee a small team of facility operatives based at the site, ground maintenance and site cleaners.

Site-based, commutable from Edinburgh, Livingston, Falkirk, and surrounding areas.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £30,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
