Role Overview:
Genus Plc’s Global Finance, Tax and Treasury team are transforming the operational delivery across the world. The role of Assistant Finance Controller for Genus PIC is available with the opportunity for remote and office working from the Genus ABS Headquarters in Nantwich, Cheshire.

You will lead a team of geographically dispersed professionals supporting Genus’ porcine genetics company, Genus PIC, in the end-to-end accountancy processes. Partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to ensure proper controls and accountability of assets, records and reports for internal and external compliance and auditing. This role offers the opportunity to travel to Genus PIC’s headquarters in Barcelona, Spain and other countries within your remit of responsibility across Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia.

Joining the Genus Finance team today will enable you to be part of the global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365), creating efficiencies and streamlining financial processes.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and direction to your team based in England, Germany, Russia and Spain
  • Process and complete the month-end reporting
  • Lead the audit process
  • Actively participate in the global implementation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365) and specialise in the Finance module of D365
  • Partner with stakeholders across the region (Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Russia)
Requirements:
  • ACA. ACCA, ICAEW or CIMA qualified or equivalent
  • At least 5 years accountancy work experience
  • Proven people management skills and experience
  • Willing and able to travel internationally
