Robert Walters are recruiting for an Accounting Manager to join a growing business based in Nantwhich, overseeing the general accounting function to ensure timely preparation of management accounts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ownership of month-end closing process to ensure timely reporting to group
  • Monthly Management Accounts preparation
  • Ownership of Purchase Invoice to Pay cycle – including accounting for Freight and Duty.
  • Management of Accounting team members
  • Group reporting
  • Controls/ Audit including year-end.
  • Payment and accounting for VAT, Corporation Tax, PAYE and Payroll Deduction Orders
  • VAT returns for UK and Ireland
  • Fixed asset accounting.
Key Requirements
  • At least 4+ years accounting experience; qualified or part-qualified by relevant professional body or qualified by experience.
  • Experience of managing team members.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to deliver to strict deadlines.
  • Excellent Finance knowledge and capability to apply in a commercial environment.
  • Interest in seeking new ways of working and ideas to improve the business.
