Robert Walters are looking to recruit an Account Assistant for a successful business in Warrington on a permanant basis You will play a pivotal part in the Finance team, preparing the Profit and Loss accounts, Cashflows and Balance Sheets, and supporting the business in their drive for profitable growth. Supporting the Finance Director prepare all reporting requirements for the business to ensure the delivery of timely and accurate financial information, including annual budgeting and forecasting, ongoing flash reporting, Board packs, and bank & investor information.

Key Responsibilities
  • Data entry using Sourced’s various software solutions
  • Processing purchase Ledger invoices & managing supplier payments
  • Sales invoicing and revenue assurance reconciliations
  • Credit control
  • Processing & reconciling company credit card statements
  • Reviewing & processing staff expenses
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Supporting month-end reporting
  • General admin, including a lot of ad-hoc duties, assisting the managers in both administration, finance and other duties, getting to really know the business
  • Inbound and outbound telephone support

Key Requirements
  • Previous experience in transactional accounting roles ideally with credit control experience
  • Attention to detail,
  • accurate, highly competent Excel skills,
  • strong customer service ethos
