About Us

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen to work within Councils Environment & Housing Directorate. The roles are based at our permitted facilities , working in the Recycling & Infrastructure Team.

About The Role

Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8-12, £22,777 - £24,496

Hours of Work / Working Pattern: 37 Hours

Permanent

Description:

The primary role is to assist with the segregation and storage of recyclable material prior to treatment, resale and reuse and the bulking, storage and loading of green and residual waste.

About You
  • Minimum 1 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Experience of operating machinery to assist with loading and unloading vehicles.
  • Experience of working in a front-line service
  • An understanding of the Neighbourhood Services provided by the Local Authority
  • Good communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to provide written report
