About Us

Developing our people in Social Services has never been more important than it is now, post-pandemic, and at a time when social care is in crisis. This is a great opportunity to join the Social Care Workforce Development team and help shape and develop our future Social Care Workforce Development agenda. This post focuses on all our Adults Services, both internal and external, and works closely with the postholder for Children and Young People Services.

As a Social Care Workforce Development team of seven, we support, guide and advise staff and Managers working in Social Services on all aspects of Social Care Workforce Development. We do that by really getting to understand the Service’s needs, by being patient and understanding, and using humour where appropriate. We also all seem to enjoy a slice of cake or tasty biscuit or an amusing gif!
