Job Title:Warehouse Operative
Hours: Monday to Friday (9am - 6pm)
Salary: £10.62 per hour

Talento is proud to be working in partnership with a UK’s leading manufacturer based in Carlisle.

Our client is looking to recruit a Warehouse Operative on a temp to perm contract.

Main Purpose of the Role:

To accurately pick and pack all orders received in a highly time effective and quality focused manner and ensure same day dispatch.

Responsible to the Warehouse Supervisors & Managers, your main responsibilities will be:

  • Proactive collection of orders passed to Warehouse from the Sales Office
  • Accurate picking of orders
  • Careful and quality packing of orders in appropriately sized packaging and with appropriate protective packing
  • Packing in a cost-effective manner
  • Re-stocking shelves following deliveries with direction from either Supervisors or the Warehouse Manager
  • Liaising with the Sales office and Supervisors regarding queries
  • Raising problems and concerns with a Warehouse Supervisor or Manager
  • Any other duties as reasonably requested from time to time which fall within the post holder’s capabilities either within or outside of the Warehouse.

What you need.

  • Experience in a similar role and environment
  • Good timekeeping
