Ward Administrator


Leicester Hospital | Administration | Permanent | Full Time | Salary £19,578 per annum


37.5 hours per week including evenings and weekends

As a Ward Administrator at our Leicester Hospital, you’re able to manage, appraise and interpret the data. What’s more, you know how to present this in a timely and professional manner. Ideally, you have an NVQ Level 2 in Business and Administration or equivalent, but this isn’t essential.



As a Ward Administrator you will:

  • Handle enquiries and general queries

  • Put your strong IT and keyboard skills to work

  • Maintain databases

  • To provide administrative assistance within the team.

  • To undertake administrative tasks such as photocopying, filing/archiving, sorting post,

  • To complete electronic and/or manual data entry / record keeping

  • To retrieve data in an accurate and timely manner, and to agreed standards.

  • To scan patient notes onto the hospital system.

  • To ensure medical record destruction
