Are you looking for ongoing driving work?

Pertemps are currently recruiting several Class 1 Drivers (C+E) looking for Part time weekend work on an evening to work on a regular ongoing basis for our client based in Louth. You will be required carry out trunk runs and deliver goods to distribution centres or carry out trailer swaps in a curtain side vehicle.

What will I be expected to do?

  • Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle to transport goods and materials.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle.
  • Secure cargo using straps, chains, and tarps as needed.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations.
  • Communicate with dispatch to receive delivery instructions.
  • Complete necessary paperwork and maintain accurate records of deliveries.

What shifts and start times are available?We have evening weekend shifts and some midweek shifts starting from 16:00

onwards.

How much will I be paid as a HGV Driver?

Nights - £14.59ph

Which skills or experience do I need to apply?

  • 2 Years minimum Class 1 experience
  • Category C+E (HGV 1) on your licence
  • Digital Tachograph card and CPC qualification
  • No DR10s No CD10s No IN10s no more than 6 points
