Salary -From £25,000 to £30,500 pro rata, depending on experience and location

Full or part time roles available Minimum 3 days required (Flexible roster 7.30am to 7.30pm Monday to Friday)

Nuffield Health is seeking an Emotional Wellbeing Therapist / Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner (PWP) , we are recruiting this role initially on a remote basis but as lockdown restrictions continue to ease we will move to F2F clinical delivery on 1 to 2 days per week. The successful candidate must be able to travel across Leeds and North Yorkshire.

As a PWP you will support the delivery of a range of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) based psychological interventions and stepped care treatment in a private care setting to people with common mental health problems – this will include Telephone Triage, Video Therapy, Guided on line therapy and Wellbeing training, both on a one to one basis or in a group setting.

To succeed as a PWP, you will need:

To have already successfully completed a British Psychological Society (BPS) accredited certificate course as a PWP and can demonstrate experience in the delivery of low intensity, evidence-based interventions in a primary or private care context.

In addition to being a qualified PWP with a Post Graduate Certificate in Low Intensity Interventions you will also have the following skills:
  • Have evidence of working with people who have experienced a mental health problem.
  • Be able to work with high caseloads and have experience of working to performance targets.
  • Be familiar with a step-care approach to Therapy
  • Be flexible to work at a variety of locations including home
