Lead Recovery Practitioner - Wessex - Full-time

Do you want to work in an environment where you have the time to dedicate time & care to your patients? Do you want to work for the UKs not for profit healthcare provider? If so, Nuffield Health is looking for a Lead Recovery Practitioner at our Nuffield Health Wessex Hospital in Chandlers Ford. The hospital is predominately a surgical facility covering several different specialities. The working hours of this department is Monday-Friday 8am-9.30pm with occasional Saturday working and on-call requirement when required.

As a Lead Recovery Practitioner you be able to;
  • Support and assist in the management and organisation of care provision within the theatre department. Working in collaboration with other senior team members within the theatre suite
  • Lead and direct the team delivering care in the recovery area; this will include training, recruitment, day to day line management
  • Provide quality planned care for our patients during the immediate post operative phase of their journey.
  • Instrumental in auditing and monitoring the quality of care
  • Work flexibly where required to include participating on the on-call rota
  • Work closely with leading consultants and other like-minded professionals, who will respect and value what you bring to the close-knit multidisciplinary team.
What are we looking for in a Senior Theatre Practitioner? You will have;
  • Wealth of experience in recovery or other high care areas
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • Ability to direct and lead a team
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a qualified practitioner with suitable positions held within that period
  • Current NMC or HCPC registration.
