Volunteering Learning Specialist
Fixed Term [3 months, covering an internal secondment]
£31,000

Location: Based in a Dual location: Home/London Office.

We are looking to recruit a Learning and Development professional who will deliver engaging, innovative and inspiring learning experiences and training solutions, that will help drive high performance. The role will form part of the Learning & Development Team which leads on the design, delivery and evaluation of engaging face to face, social and digital learning content.

In this fixed-term role you will deliver volunteer focused development ensuring our volunteers receive an exemplar end to end customer journey and realise their full potential as volunteers. The role will work with the Volunteering Development Lead and collaborate with other Learning Specialists to deliver absorbing learning that ensures real impact on a variety of subject matter across the organisation.

To do this role, you will…

Have a track record in delivering high quality, innovative and learner-centred learning solutions through a range of channels including, but not limited to, class based, peer learning and online.
An understanding of volunteering and the impact a comprehensive L&D programme can have on both volunteers and volunteer managers.
Deliver continuous improvement through evaluation of outcomes, user feedback, peer observation and developments within the L&D sector.
Own your own development, keep up-to-speed with developments in the L&D sector and be adaptable to new technological solutions to learning needs.
Have exceptional presentation and facilitation skills.
Be passionate about building strong relationships through meaningful collaboration
Have experience of managing projects from inception to evaluation.
