You will have a passion for volunteering, great communication and interpersonal skills and will work proactively to increase volunteering across Brunelcare.

This is an exciting role working with our community engagement & volunteering team to develop innovative and community responsive volunteering.

We want to significantly expand our volunteering, including developing our existing befriending service. This role will help to develop volunteering opportunities that will make a positive difference to the lives of the people we provide care and support for.

About the role

Create high quality, exciting and meaningful opportunities for a diverse range of people to make a difference for our cause.

You will support our local teams to develop mutually beneficial volunteering that will enhance the lives of the people we support.

Develop our befriending service to become flexible and adapt to the changing needs of the people we support.

Coordinate our volunteer onboarding and brokerage process

About you

You will have an excellent understanding and practical experience of good practice in volunteering and volunteer management

A passion and commitment for providing a positive, fulfilling and meaningful volunteer experience

Good partnership working skills to work collaboratively with a range of external and internal stakeholders

Excellent organisational and administrative skills to support our volunteers in their journey with us.

COVID Vaccinations

Due to our work with older vulnerable adults and the provision of hands-on care, it is vital that we reduce any risks related to COVID-19, therefore we request that all applicants have been fully vaccinated before commencing employment. Where a successful applicant has not had both vaccinations, we will arrange for these to be available. Being fully vaccinated is a condition of employment with Brunelcare.
