Overview:
We are looking to recruit a Property Pricing Manager to provide critical support for the ongoing growth of our residential and leisure property products here at Gallagher.

Reporting to the Head of Pricing and MI, you will lead on the pricing optimisation across the various products making sure our pricing strategy is in support of the insurer strategy on our different facilities. You will support the product cells in improving their understanding and pricing of these products to achieve their income objectives.

The key areas of focus would be supporting the achievement of agreed loss ratio targets with capacity and underwriters, as well as optimising the retail price of the products within the sales process.

Gallagher is committed to an ambitious strategy of growth in which this role and the wider pricing team will play a pivotal role in helping realise this growth.

There will be an expectation to travel to offices of responsibility: Gloucester, Bournemouth, St. Neots, Tunbridge Wells, Sale (Manchester), and London.
Responsibilities:
  • Detailed performance analysis of property products and portfolios (loss ratio and conversion)
  • Pricing change proposals and forecasts to support performance and growth
  • Key point of contact with external partners (Insurance Underwriters and Capacity providers)
  • Support Product Cell teams with analysis as required to support growth
  • Support the Head of Pricing shape and implement the divisional pricing strategy
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this role will be passionate about data and the value its uses can add to business performance through pricing and underwriting. Ideally from a background in Insurance pricing, the individual will be required to work independently and comfortably communicate complicated data and pricing analysis findings to non-technical people.


With a positive and professional approach, the individual should be confident challenging hypothesis and able to pragmatically present alternative approaches, theories and solutions. Having the ability to manage and prioritise their own workload will be essential.


Having a keen interest in emerging data technologies, a background in statistical analysis and the ability to execute plans in to action will be a distinct advantage for this role.
