As a trainee, you will learn the skills associated with history taking, clinical assessment, diagnosis, treatment and evaluation of care as well as become competent in a range of Urological procedures.

You will ultimately use your knowledge and skills to provide expert, efficient and safe patient care whilst under supervision of a mentor. You will demonstrate clinical judgement and critical decision-making skills based upon evidence based practice, and you will learn and develop form working collaboratively with consultants, Specialist Nurses and the wider multi-disciplinary team in order to meet the urgent care needs of patients. Working for our organisation

The successful candidate will join an established multi-disciplinary team of urologists, uro- gynaecologists, Urology oncology specialist nurses and Urology nurse practitioners.

The Urology Department at City Campus, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is accommodated in the Urology Centre which consists of a dedicated Outpatients Department with facilities to undertake flexible cystoscopies and biopsies , a lithotripter suite, three urology operating theatres and office accommodation.
