Or even a change in direction?Are you looking to be invested in & supported to develop?The Clinical Health Psychology Team are looking to recruit an experienced RMN or RNLD to come & join their specialist team.
  • Provides a service for adults experiencing significant psychological distress secondary to living with pain and / or long-term conditions. Provides assessment for people pre- and post bariatric surgery.
  • Accept referrals via agreed protocols within the service
  • Assess clients for suitability for psychological interventions
  • Make decisions on suitability of new referrals, adhering to the department’s referral protocols, and refer unsuitable clients on to the relevant service or back to the referral agent as necessary.
  • Formulate, implement and evaluate therapy programmes for clients. Use highly developed communication skills in working with people to understand their personal and often very sensitive difficulties.
  • Manage a caseload of appropriate size, complexity and severity, including people who have complex problems which may present as challenging or risky. Problems may be complicated by physical disability, impaired cognitive functioning, other physical illnesses and issues related to trauma.
