Trainee Credit Control

As the team grows, we currently have a variety of great opportunities within our credit department, including Credit Collections, Credit Control & Credit Vetting. If you are looking for a role where you will have good career progression and development opportunities, then we would be keen to discuss the options we have available within our credit department. Full training will be provided with a development and progression plan in place for you to pursue your career in Credit Control.

We would love to welcome you to our Crewe Head Office location, whether you’re at the start of your career or looking for your next challenge. Full training for any role will be provided and we can offer full study support for either CICM or AAT.

Salary:Up to £22,000 dependent on experience

Location:Radius Campus, Emperor Way, Crewe Business Park, CW1 6BD

Hours:Monday - Friday 08:30am - 17:00pm

What would your day to day look like?

This would be dependent upon the area you work, however typical responsibilities you can expect are;
  • Daily contact with customers via Telephone, SMS, E-mail, Payment links or Letter, in line with credit policy
  • Keep accurate and complete records of all customer contact within Cruise / Sugar
  • Escalation of accounts and issues as required
  • Actively engage in relevant and appropriate opportunities for cross-department working to build relationships & share knowledge
  • Use exposure to different areas of Credit and businesses / products to share good ideas and approaches across the team and improve the processes and systems as a result
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with our sales team.
