Description

We are looking for a Test Engineer to join our friendly and supportive IT delivery team at AXA Health.

We have a comfortable and modern office environment, coupled with the ability to work remotely. This is an exciting opportunity to work as part of an agile team to build our next generation of applications. With an extensive focus on automation and code quality, you will work with automated test packs and release pipelines to ensure a highly efficient and quality product is shipped to users.

The Role

  • Contribute to the design, creation, execution and maintenance of effective testing solutions that deliver secure, quality applications using continuous delivery and agile best practices.
  • Subject matter expert for testing and associated testing tools within the agile delivery team
  • Build close relationships & collaborate effectively with team members and customers, obtaining feedback and understanding priorities
  • Work with product owners/stakeholders to ensure the product vision is understood
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives within the team and across the IT department.

Location - Tunbridge Wells but can work remotely 3-4 days per week but can be more flixible to accomodate work-life balance

Qualifications

Knowledge & Experience

  • Extensive working knowledge of testing practices and tools used within large scale digital organisations
  • Experience working in a product-centric organisation preferred
  • Strong experience creating front end and API automation solutions, mobile and web compatibility experience also desirable
  • Experience in performance and security testing including code quality tools
  • Strong experience using testing tools such as
    • Appium
    • Provar
    • Selenium
    • Postman
    • Azure DevOps
    • JMeter/K6
  • At least 3 years proven relevant work experience in a similar role.
