Are you a dedicated and reliable individual with a passion for working with young people?

Do you have a strong educational background, with GCSEs in Maths and English?

Are you looking for a long-term commitment to working in the education sector? If so, we have the perfect job opportunity for you!

The Supply Room is currently recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to work with students aged 7-19 at a Specialist School in Lymington, Hampshire.

The position offers a competitive pay rate of £95-£100 per day, with the opportunity for a permanent contract after a 16-week temporary period.

Working hours are 8:30am-4:30pm, Monday-Friday.

We are looking for someone who is punctual, reliable, and enthusiastic about supporting students with Autism in developing essential life skills.

Previous experience working or volunteering with children or vulnerable adults is desirable, but not essential.

As a Teaching Assistant at this Specialist School, you will be responsible for supporting students on a 1-1 basis or in small groups, primarily focusing on the development of life skills.

The curriculum is tailored to meet the needs of students with a diagnosis of Autism, so experience or a willingness to learn about this condition is essential.

Public transport in Lymington is limited, so candidates who drive or live locally are encouraged to apply.

Positive feedback from previous candidates who have gone on to secure permanent positions within the school highlights the rewarding nature of this role.

If you are available to start immediately or after the Easter holidays and are looking for a fulfilling career in the education sector, we want to hear from you!

Apply now for the opportunity to interview for this position as soon as possible.
