We are looking for a Test Engineer to join an amazing company that designs and develops temperature-controlled packaging solutions for the pharmaceutical and FMCG sectors.-The role will involve the design of test protocols, building test rigs, support of product test and validation activities and the manipulation and analysis of large quantities of data. Typical test will include thermal, environmental, dry ice testing etc in climatic chambers.
  • Additionally, there will be some responsibility to oversee the calibration of equipment, organise repairs to test chambers and maintain all test data and records.
  • The ideal candidate would be a versatile Test Engineer, Lab Engineer, Prototype Engineer or Development Engineer, with demonstrable practical mechanical skills, that has worked within industrial testing - automotive, pharmaceutical, packaging, refrigeration, consumer goods, medical etc Skills / Knowledge- Test Engineer:
  • Experience in a ‘hands-on’ testing role within an industrial test environment (developing tests, validating products, collating and analysing data etc.)
  • Degree qualified or equivalent in Mechanical, Thermal or Packaging engineering.
  • Knowledge of Design Qualification (DQ) and Operational Qualification (OQ) test protocols and plans to meet validation requirements.
  • Good knowledge of data analysis, recording and manipulation - interpreting, processing and presenting test results to senior management.
  • Self-motivated with the capability to support and guide others.
  • You must have excellent skills using Word and Excel to record, plot and analyse large quantities of data
  • An understanding or experience in thermal testing would be ideal
  • Practical mechanical, build and assembly skills to build tests
  • A methodical approach to tasks, with a good eye for detail You will be working in a supportive and close team within a larger organisation.
