About The Role

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on people’s lives? Do you want to be part of a company that is striving to revolutionise access to healthcare in the UK? At Simplyhealth, our health plans provide the opportunity to attend routine dental treatments, visit the optician, have complementary therapies (e.g. physio) and much more by providing financial support to those that really need it.

But we’re not just your average health company; we’re aiming to revolutionise access to healthcare in the UK by offering innovative health and wellbeing solutions that are affordable, accessible, and effective. From preventive care to comprehensive medical support, we aim to empower individuals to take charge of their health, inspiring them to make the most of their wellbeing.

As Test Analyst, you will be working across the wider tech and product teams with a good working knowledge of agile software testing to support the quality of our solutions for our customers. You will execute functional and integration testing as well as liaising with third parties to ensure the best test coverage at pace. Working in an agile environment, you’ll also contribute to daily stand up meetings, sprint planning, sprint demos and sprint retrospectives. We’re looking for Test Analysts who have a passion for what they do and can hit the ground running.

Key Responsibilities
  • Translating user stories and backlog items into logical units of work.
  • Defining acceptance criteria.
  • Liaising with Software Developers and Test Automation Analysts to agree split of testing responsibilities.

  • Ensuring that test scenarios and scripts are prepared in a structured way, prioritised to reflect business or technical priorities and are approved by appropriate stakeholders.
  • Creating allocated test scripts, monitoring test execution and ensuring results are recorded.
  • Working with Software Developers to ensure that defects raised are fixed and re-tested effectively and promptly
  • Contributing to the overall quality of test scripts by performing reviews for other Test Analysts.
We’re interested in what you do and how you do things, not when and where you do them. Our‘smart working’ approach gives you the best of all worlds – working from home, in our modern offices in Hampshire or on the move. This means depending on your role, there will be opportunities to flex when and where you spend your time to perform at your very best. For many of us this means day to day work can be handled remotely, but there will also be times when we need to come together in the office to collaborate, attend training sessions, induction, briefings and more.
